Of course I know that practicing speaking with real people is the best practice for building your social skills.

But can you practice conversation without actually speaking to another human? What are some things you can do on your own to build social skills on days where you are just too busy to go out and talk to real people?

  1. You can’t. Look at counselling or some other means of mental health support to deal with the issues are keeping you from wanting to be around people.
