There are hair advice subs that can help, but same problem here, shit sometimes looks like a wire brush.
Leave in conditioner is my best friend.
Get rosemary oil. After you emulsify shampoo in your palms, drop in a few drops before lathering your hair. It does wonders.
I shaved mine off lol
But also, leave in deep conditioning treatments are very good. I recommend K18 by Kevin Murphy.
I have recently had a few Brazilian keratin treatments and they are incredible! I don’t have any frizz anymore and don’t need products, and I can avoid all heat styling, just wash and go. Also think about what cut would flatter you. I have a blunt cut bob and it looks so much thicker
Caster oil helps. I know, it’s super heavy. You can put it in your hair for an hour or two before a shower and it gives it some help.
My hair is turning white slowly and I highlight it but it’s become so fine (I’m relatively young as well) so I find this helps once or twice a week.
Also, invest in a silk pillow case too. Helps prevent your hair from breaking.
Using shampoo without sulphates, even if you just gotta use baby shampoo to avoid it.
I leave most of my regular conditioner in my hair after washing, it leaves a little extra coating which I found smooths it out nicely. It weighs down the frizz too.
Look into curly girl method. Frizz often indicates a curl pattern even if it’s a looser pattern. Certain ingredients can contribute to frizz.
co wash. I only wash with shampoo every third wash with a tiny bit of sulfate free shampoo. The other times I just use a conditioner, or cleansing conditioner. It used to be so wiry before, but this keeps it much more hydrated and calm.
