Hi! So I’m talking to this person who will be attending the same uni as me next year, and she just liked my message as our conversation kind of came to a close as I sort of ran out of things to say. I might be overthinking it, but does that mean she doesn’t like me or is less inclined to talk to me when we do meet on campus?
Thanks! I’m just really paranoid because I wish to be better at meeting new people, and I’m worried that my social life on campus will already be doo-doo. Is just liking a person’s message on IG indicative that the person doesn’t rlly like you and therefore, doesn’t want to talk?

Usually it’s just because there’s nothing else to say, seemingly because the conversation was coming to a close. Sometimes it’s easier and more informal to just like a message instead of saying something direct like, “it was great talking to you, reach out again when you can!”
