**I am in search for a lube which won’t cause any UTIs and basically just not disrupt my vaginal health at all.** I researched a bit and found that silicone based lubricants are better to use since it is PH neutral and is free from additives like glycerin, glycerol and propylene glycol.

**I wanted suggestions from people here about where to buy a good quality lube. I want to avoid lube which has fragrance, spermicides, sorbitol, parabens, or numbing agents since these are some common irritants**

Also just for reference, I am a newbie to sex and have never done it so i am extra worried about lube and just the overall health of my vagina 😅.

  1. Wash after sex. Pee after sex. Lube is not sterile and even if it was it would become not sterile the moment you applied it. You dont even need to have sex to get a UTI, poor hygiene is more than enough on its own. Use what ever lube your prefer, just make sure you wash everything properly, especially righy after sex, and you have the potential to go the rest of your life UTI free.

  2. You’d want to avoid lube that contained those irritants anyway as it can cause stinging. SO and I tried a bunch before we discovered Sliquid and have been using it ever since. Uberlube is also really good.

  3. Sliquid silk lube does not have any of those bad ingredients.

glycerin is bad because it’s basically sugar.

  4. Lelo’s lube is great. I spent a lot of time trying to find the right lube and condoms for me as I have quite the delicate PH even though I pee after sex + have excellent hygiene practices.
