I’m looking for Social Skills Training and it seems like if you have poor social skills that means automatic Autism. I’m looking for some help that’s in my insurance coverage. Any advice from anyone who is in or that has had this type of therapy?

  1. It is not accurate to assume that poor social skills automatically indicate autism. While social difficulties can be a characteristic of autism, there are many other possible causes, including anxiety, shyness, and simply lacking experience or practice in social situations.

It’s great that you’re seeking help to improve your social skills, and it’s important to find a therapist who can work with you to understand the underlying reasons for your social challenges. You may want to consider speaking with your insurance provider to determine which therapists in your network specialize in social skills training. Additionally, you could search for therapists in your area who offer this type of therapy and check if they accept your insurance.

Remember, seeking help for social skills is a positive step towards improving your relationships and overall well-being, and there is no shame in seeking therapy. Best of luck to you in your search for a therapist who can help you reach your goals!

    Sincerely..
