I’m not close to those people and a lot of the times they just quickly ask while taking out their phone to snap a selfie. I don’t consent but didn’t have enough time to say no and pressured to say yes. Same with aunts where they make us stand in for a picture. How can I say no to those in a very polite manner. If I just say no, they’ll think there’s something wrong? But I just prefer not to have my photo taken. I don’t like having those “memories captured” especially when I don’t feel like it, now just someone has taken out their camera or phone ruins it the moment for me.

How often do you get together with aunts, uncles & cousins? If it’s occasional I’d probably just roll with it, but limit it to maybe one group shot. If it’s with friends, just tell them your preference.
