  1. It’s natural to desire validation and acceptance from others, especially when forming new friendships. While it can be challenging to determine with absolute certainty whether people genuinely like you, there are some signs that can indicate positive feelings and a healthy social dynamic. Here are a few things to consider:

Consistent positive interactions: If people consistently engage with you in a friendly, respectful, and positive manner, it’s a good indication that they enjoy your company. This can include actively listening to you, showing interest in your life, and engaging in conversations.

Initiating contact: If people initiate conversations, reach out to spend time with you, or include you in their plans, it suggests they value your presence. Reciprocity is also important, so make sure to initiate contact and suggest activities yourself from time to time.

Open body language and non-verbal cues: When people are genuinely interested and comfortable around you, they often display open body language. This includes maintaining eye contact, facing towards you, and mirroring positive gestures. Pay attention to these non-verbal cues, as they can indicate genuine interest and likeability.

Authenticity and vulnerability: When people feel comfortable being themselves around you and are open about their thoughts and emotions, it’s a sign that they trust and value your friendship. Creating an atmosphere of trust and authenticity can foster deeper connections.

Support and encouragement: Friends who genuinely like you will support your endeavors and offer encouragement during both good times and challenging moments. They will celebrate your successes and offer a helping hand when you need it.

While these signs can be helpful, it’s important to remember that everyone expresses themselves differently, and not everyone is equally expressive or extroverted. It’s also essential to manage your own paranoia and negative self-perception. If you find yourself constantly doubting others’ intentions or worrying about what they might say behind your back, consider working on building your self-confidence and addressing your insecurities. Open communication with your friends can also help alleviate your concerns and strengthen your relationships.

When it comes to suggesting activities, it’s normal to feel unsure at times. Start by observing the interests and preferences of your friends. If you notice they enjoy certain activities, propose something related to those interests. Additionally, you can directly communicate with your friends, expressing your desire to spend more time together and asking for their input on potential activities. Remember that open and honest communication is key to nurturing any relationship.

Lastly, keep in mind that building friendships takes time, and it’s normal to experience some uncertainty in the beginning. By focusing on positive interactions, nurturing your relationships, and being yourself, you can increase the likelihood of forming genuine connections with others.
