I have a strict no coworkers can follow me on social media. This works very well, and I haven’t had any issues, but my friend will soon be working at my job. They are a great worker, so I’m thrilled they are hired and also a great friends.
What’s the best way to go about them following me? I don’t post anything secretive, it’s mostly my hobbies and kids.
Any advice would be great. Thanks!

He was your friend before he was your co-worker. Keep him on your SM.
I’m sorry, I’m not sure what the issue here is. Could you clarify?
Is it that you don’t trust your friend … or is that you feel wrong not strictly following your policy … or is it something else that I’ve completely missed? Thanks!
I have multiple friends whom I work with and are on my socials…just be mindful of what you post if you don’t trust them otherwise keep on doing what you do.
> How do you handle friends that are now coworkers on social media?
Delete your social media.
If you need to ask this question it sounds like the person isn’t a proper friend but more like an old acquaintance that you’ve kept as a friend. Removing them will probably have no effect because they won’t notice. Do they have lots of other friends on their SM?
