Why do I bleed and burn after sex?

This has never happened before, but me and my partner just recently had sex, and afterwards there was a considerable amount of blood and burning, and when I went to use the bathroom it burned as well. I don’t think the burning is a UTI since it only happens after sex and it goes away the next morning? I’m not sure how to make sure this doesn’t happen again
