I try to be as honest as possible.

If I’m in situations where there’s a palpable, distinguishable threat, I’ll either omit information or fall quiet, but otherwise I’m open and honest about what I think and feel.

I’ve come to realise that most don’t appreciate this, and I understand that sometimes it’s because I can seem overly blunt. I don’t mean to be – I’m getting an ASD assessment soon – but it’s hard; I’m either honest and bitchy, or a pushover.

Is there anything I can do to amend this? Any mantras to internalise?

  1. Then say what you mean and don’t let ppl push you around neither. You can be both honest and kind.
