The only thing I can think of, is joining a club. It can be a sports club, book club, or any other club you want to do. You get to meet a bunch of like-minded people who share the same interest as you. I also have social anxiety, and my club helped me ease my anxiety a bit. And best of all, I’ve made a few friends from it!
I admit, I felt intimidated at first because I was surrounded by a bunch of new people. So it took some time for me to fit in.
Not sure how much time you have on your hands and whether or not you can afford to join the club you want. It’s just a suggestion. Take care!
Don’t try to, just be nice, do favors and help peaple. Remember to be respectful with others and this is important, cuz respect needs to be given in order to be taken.
