I’m gonna buy a cake and gift her a nykaa gift card.
My mum died when I was really young, so my sister and I have Sister’s Day instead! We go out for lunch and usually go get a pedicure ☺️
We love 5+ hours away from our parents. I always send nice flowers and call them.
I’ll probably call my mom but that’s about it. I plan on sleeping in and doing laundry and reading and letting my SO and teen cook dinner for me.
i just started asking my mom what she’s wants. this years it’s a designer wallet, preferably Michael kors but she’s open to louis
Get together with my sister. Take Mom for lunch. Give her some gifts.
I don’t? My mom doesn’t believe in Mother’s Day, so we’ve never done it. If I have kids I wouldn’t expect them to do it either as it’s not a tradition I’ve grown up with.
My biological mother is a lunatic and hasn’t seen me in 16 years. So, the women in my family (stepmom, MIL, sister-in-law, grandma, our girls, aunts) get dressed up and do brunch down in the French quarter. Even the girls who don’t have kids, we just make it a girls day.
I send grandma flowers and give her a phone call.
Then I ignore the Internet, because I don’t like the reminders that everyone else has parents.
