I always thought that triangular gaze is something can only used with flirts. But according to some research articles, triangular gaze is social gaze. Not intimate gaze. It makes you seem more engaged in conversation and likable to anyone you speak to. But it makes me confused. Looking somebodys lips/mouth feels intimate. Only person I have seen using ”Triangular gaze” on everybody is Dacre Montgomery.

What’s your experience with ”Triangular gaze”? Did you use it with non-flirts?

  1. my coworker used to do this a lot on me, I felt weird and asked why he stares so intently when we talk. and he said I spoke too quietly so he tried lip reading 😅
