Recently I’ve been breaking out so badly. So,I visited a dermatologist and changed every products that I use, as recommended by him. But it made my skin even worse as those products didn’t suited my skin.I feel anxious and depressed at the same time. I’ve tried to hang out with friends, visit new places and have fun. But nothing seems to work out for me. I don’t feel like going outside anymore, taking photos and socializing with people. Every single day, there is always that fear of me being judged by people. I am no more confident now. I’m starting to really hate myself for being the way I’m. It feels as if I’m cursed to have been born with this skin. Idk how to deal with this? I want to be as confident as I used to be.

  1. Have you gone back for a follow up with your dermatologist? Skin trouble definitely effects your mood and I think it’s worth the time and effort to work with a dermatologist.

I am currently on a medication regiment for cystic acne so I empathize with you. But the first step I would take if something made me break out and was prescribed by a medical professional would be to go and tell that medical professional.

  2. Burn the medicine and go through a personal day where you do process of eliminating anything your body can be reactionary to. Being lactose intolerant has a huge effect on your skin. As well as your water – salt intake. More fruit allows new blood flow to the body. And eating more greens allows the guts to produce new neurons for the skin to improve from

  3. If you are on new medication then maybe it will take some time, I also used to have bad acne outbreak frequently. I started working out, made changes in diet like reduced sugar intake to minimum, reduced the consumption of processed carbs and added the vitamins and supplements that are good for skin, now its under control.
