I had recently gone to the gyno and mentioned a yeast infection i had just gotten, so they tested but it came back i had bv. Same infection came back and i was prescribed an oral anti fungal with a cream and had also taken monistat. problem is when they tested it Bv was also there. me and my boyfriend have only had sex once since i had last treated it. we do not use condoms (im on the pill) and my mom recently told me she is prone to bv as well and it cleared up by using condoms. problem is i prefer no condoms, so is there another way to prevent or treat bv without always using protection? i pee right after or at least before thirty minutes after sex.
