Hello, recently a friend of mine 20(F) confessed to me that since her recent breakup her daddy issues have really been reaching and clinging to me and from personal experience I’ve noticed this, it’s not a bother but she will not leave me 21(M) alone. I’ve been her friend for years completely platonically but now that we are both single and texting and calling all day these days, I think I’ve started to develop some feelings for her beyond the platonic level we’ve been at for so long. So I’m asking you, People of Reddit, do you think her clinging to me is still platonic and she’s just more comfortable to be herself to me out of her relationship? Or is she hinting that she’s also developing some feelings for me above our current level? Should I just stop being afraid of change and ask her out?
