So I met a girl in a group and she introduced me to others and she and I were talking pretty good I think. We were talking for hours and we had good chemistry. So naturally I tried to tease her with something light. Then as time passed by, she started to distance with me. Next time we met, she became very distance with me. And today she didn’t even say hi to me and awkwardly we had to say hi later in the day. Like what happened? I have mostly no problem engaging with others and even those who I don’t get along with doesn’t straight out avoid me. But she’s like straight out not engaging any convo with me. What did I possibly do wrong for a person to act like this?

The only right answer you can get is from the girl herself. Find the right moment to talk to her and ask if she’s okay. If she says why, you can ask her your question.
Maybe whatever you teased her about struck a nerve. Can’t really be sure of this guess unless you specify what the topic was, though.
