You’re fine. Oral sex has a lower transmission rate (not zero, just lower) than penetrative intercourse.
Plenty of people banging a new person might use gloves for finger banging or condoms for penetration, but be just fine with licking cunt and sucking dick.
It’s really up to both partners to discuss boundaries.

Not that Reddit is a good place to source your information from, but the chances of you getting any STI from oral are slim, and almost nonexistent if you’ve both never had partners before.
