Not rich people of Reddit: What are your luxuries?

  1. Socks. They may be cheap Walmart socks, but I grew up wearing socks so lod they basically turned into dust.

  2. Time. I have no problem taking all of my vacation and enjoying it. I also allow myself to pay for things (cleaning, food delivery, etc.) that give me more time

  3. The Atlantic Ocean. I live within walking distance of a fine beach park. I live 7 miles from an amazing nude beach. It costs next to nothing to enjoy nature and being part of nature.

  4. Coffee. Espresso at home. We must save thousands…. Tens of thousands even if a coffee outside is 5 dollars …. Easily 10k saved a year

  5. There are these BBQ Corn Chips that I’m addicted to, but they don’t sell them in stores near me so I have to spend way more than I should to get a bulk shipment from the manufacturer every month.

  6. I treated myself to some new glasses for the first time in three years yesterday, does that count?

  7. Massages. Physical Touch is one of my love languages, and I started getting massages after a bad fall many years ago, and I go regularly because it makes me feel good, and even after I use of my coverage, they aren’t cheap by no means.

  8. My sailboat. It’s old (almost 40 years old!) and slow, it’s sails are probably stretched out a little too much and it could always use another coat of wax. But it’s mine.

  9. Name brand macaroni and cheese. When I was growing up, that’s how we knew we were going to make rent that month. If mom was bringing home Kraft, we knew things were good that month. That or Papa Murphy’s pizza once a month.
