Do you not have a bed?
Star Trek tng
An old youtube video, most of the time. Watching something I already watched many times before is therapeutic and can put me to sleep haha can work with older movies/series too.
The National Geographic channel
Shitty WW2 documentaries are my sleeping pill. If I put on something like “Nazi Mega Projects” or whatever I’ll be out in minutes.
I listen to the radio.
I never use a screen to fall asleep. Sometimes I’ll pass out on the couch cuz I’m too high, but screens are anti-sleep. I don’t even take my phone into my bedroom.
I like to drift off to sleep listening to history documentaries on YouTube. Many of which are only about 15-20 minutes or so which is perfect time to get sleepy without having the TV run all night
Cartoons.
It needs to be something I’m extremely familiar with, so I close my eyes and imagine the scenes while listening
King of the hill, dazed and confused, and the office for me
Midsomer Murders.
Asmr
70s-90s movies
Eccleston’s run of Doctor Who or ealry David Tennant run.
A book.
I listen to random NPR podcasts on the lowest volume where I can just barely hear them
Family guy
Fairly oddparents
SpongeBob
Scooby-Doo
At 39 it really doesn’t matter. I fell asleep watching Extraction 2 the other day.
I don’t own a couch
Some sitcom I’ve seen before. Community, the Office, Parks and Rec…
Thursday night football
Bobs burgers
Anything with judges and contestants. Shit’s mind-numbing.

Instead of falling asleep on the couch and basically ensuring that half of your nights sleep is poor in quality try this out;
1. Optional; Get melatonin. Helps you calm down and fall asleep peacefully.
2. Get earbuds. Put one on and go lie down on your bed eyes closed.
3. Pick one of the following YouTube channels at the end of this comment and put in on a playlist.
4. Enjoy a great nights peaceful sleep without giving away the same feeling you get from falling asleep watching something on the couch.
My go-to fall asleep YouTube channels. All have great, deep soothing voices.
-Green dot aviaton. Air crash investigations but on YouTube.
-LEMMiNO. Investigations, mystery stories etc.
-Barely Sociable. Interesting stories about internet crimes etc.
-Luetin09. Warhammer 40K more videos. I dont even play 40K, but the lore videos by this guy are amazing
-Astrum. Space related videos.
-CYMotorsport. F1 videos.
-SunnyV2/Patrick CC. Celebrity downfall breakdowns and redemption stories.
-Wendover productions. Aviation and logistics videos.
-ColdFusion. Tech related stories.
I got plenty more if anyone is interested.
a favorite sitcom that i’ve already seen a million times, with Bob’s Burgers being the go-to.
Ancient Aliens
Eric the midget phone calls
Cooking videos, but the ones with no talking, just the sounds of a kitchen. I love that shit
Nothing, I fall asleep in bed.
Unsolved mysteries or forensic files. I don’t know if it’s the monotone narration but I get sleepy after watching those late at night.
YouTube and autoplay. Pick something and let ‘er rip
Futurama, one piece, basically “comfort foods” of the mind. My wife likes Gilmore Girls (as do I).
YouTube-Kanäle, auf denen gekocht wird, ohne Gelaber oder Musik. Einfach kochen und ich schaue zu.
I’ve been getting into audiobooks.
Walk tours without narration – only ambience.
Nature documentaries
PBS Space Time
Sports. With teams I have no rooting interest in.
I’ve been sleeping on the couch for months (for multiple reasons lol). But every night I usually put on either The Office, Parks and Rec, Seinfeld or Everybody Loves Raymond. One of them always seems to be on TV.
Antique roadshow reruns
Why would I want to fall asleep on the couch? I’m trying to watch something. If I want to sleep I go to bed.
I like to have some sort of space documentary on. Often times it’ll slide into my dream and I get to see other places like Neptune.
Futurama
Throw on a random sports game. Any sport except soccer because I haven’t tried it before
YouTube instructional videos
I go to bed like a grown adult.
