New cosmetology instructor advice on how to deal with students.

I have been a cosmetologist since 2004 and I start back to cosmetology school for my instructor license Tuesday. I am needing advice on how to handle students and instructors. Just advice that you as an instructor wish you had known before starting your career as an instructor in cosmetology.
