Sun-In or fresh lemon (plus sunshine) work a small amount
The only other method I’ve used was peroxide and baking soda. It turns into a paste and you leave it on until you see a color difference. I only did a thick test strand because im sure this concoction can’t be healthy. My hair went from black to a medium brown color. My mom told me how she used to do it when she was younger.
I used to mix (super cheap) dark honey with lots of conditionier and let my hair soak in it for an hour, then wash it. Don’t use too much honey or it can cause trouble with washing
Swimming regularly. The chlorine works.
Does anybody know how to do this for black women?
