So one thing I learned as a loner is:

In many cases (not all cases, I know), being a loner means that no one will bother you.

I used to always imagine talking to people and not being shy, so for a good year I used to have pretend convos in the shower, and in my head, and watched alot of netflix shows / youtube videos to see how people talk etc.

Is it possible overtime my brain just got used to it via this fake practice?

Because my shyness suddenly went away. I’m not loudly extroverted, but now I’m able to talk to 3 strangers a day. And on good days, those strangers can be women too (I’m a male and don’t have a gf but want to find one)

Thank you

  1. I would say so yeah. You know what they say, you can do anything you put your mind to … literally.

  2. If you speak to people with the fear of being a loner, you are going to be your own micromanager.

One you realize it’s not the end of the world, you’re freer to be “yourself”. And research gives you the confidence to know how express that, congrats!
