I was recently told that I look like a standoffish type of guy. I never really saw myself that way but I just felt like a reserved guy in general.
Apparently women don’t like this and it makes them get repelled? Is my friend right and what should I do.
I’m described as independent, smart, quiet, reserved and strong.

I wouldn’t pay much attention to what one person is telling you. If you’re confident with how you’re holding yourself and that’s all that matters.

Standoffishness probably isn’t as big a problem for guys because we are expected to make the first move anyways. If you are making the first move, then the risk of appearing like you don’t want to be approached isn’t really there, and if you aren’t making the first move, she probably isn’t going to anyways
