In terms of having trouble coming up with things to talk about and being silent for a while as a result. I feel it takes a lot for me to be social nowadays unless it’s by text message and even then I draw a blank sometimes when it comes with coming up with things to talk about

  1. Not sure about medication, but trying to speak to a counsellor/ psychologist over phone (if too anxious) could help?
    Currently thats my way of trying to deal with social anxiety

  2. I don’t recommend it but alcohol is a very effective anti anxiety drug. I had a therapist say this to me is our session I wasn’t diagnosed until I was in my 40s.
