ok this is terrible i know, but i’m on the pre-senior swim team right? there’s this kid who is autistic and doesn’t understand social cue’s and i get that he can’t help it but i still need to know how to get him to understand that i don’t want to talk to him without being harsh. and i know that this post is the definition of harsh but i feel like i’ve known him for a life time after listening to him talk. anyways, me and my friend have just joined the team and he’s been on the team for probably a year in a half but he is just as bad as us, so he always gets put in the same lane as us. he flirts with me, asks me all kinds of uncomfortable questions and says all kinds of uncomfortable things. for example, i just got out of practice about 10 minutes ago and he yelled SO loud, “DOES ANYONE HAVE A BACK SCRATCHER IN THEIR BAG?!?!”. i was mortified. how do i get him to stop talking to me without being mean?? i feel really bad considering he can’t help it but jesus i’m only human. PLEASE HELP ME!!! ANYBODY WHO HAS EXPERIENCE WITH THIS KIND OF STUFD PLS!!

tl;dr: there’s this autistic guy on my swim team who i feel really bad for, but he never stops talking to me and i need to figure out how to get him to chill without being mean.
