I’ve done a LOT of traveling to different countries, when I am on a flight that has multiple stops I always make sure I bring chargers, battery backups incase I get stuck in an airport that doesn’t have any free outlets
If the layover is over 3 hours I’ll rent what they call a “Minute Suite” It’s basically a hotel room in the airport that you rent, it has a shower, kitchen, everything, they are pricey though, around 50 to 100$ an hour but totally worth it.
My power bank, phone and Nintendo Switch have got me through the journey from NZ to the UK several times when I visit my parents back home, usually that has 2 – 3 stops.
Dress for comfort rather than fashion.
A thick hoody and something soft to be a pillow if I lay on the floor/sleep for a long wait.
Airports seem to like limiting WiFi usage to an hour or two, so use that wisely.
Wandering airport shops never buying anything is also a good time waster.
Most airports will have water fountains, food is tricky – you’ll have to spend unfortunately.
You will go mad on long journeys, so just embrace it.
