Hi everyone!
Social anxiety holds me back from almost everything I want to do. I had an interview with Walmart today. I was so stressed about the interview that I thought it was pointless to go, because I was bound to get rejected. I used Victor Frankle’s paradoxical intention. As I was getting stressed, I asked myself to get more stressed. That made me smile, which helped me relax. The interview went better than I expected.

Don’t know if it’s an one time effect. Sharing in case some of you find it helpful. All the best to you all.

  1. Along the lines of what you’re saying, I tell myself “I need to get THE FAIL out of the way” before I can accomplish my next big thing. So I don’t worry about ‘the fail’ because it’s a necessary first step. That makes me so relaxed that The Fail usually doesn’t even materialize, lol!
