I met a guy recently from a dating site. I’ll be honest I was looking for sex as I’d been through a messy breakup. We matched months ago and he had messaged me several times but I hadn’t responded as I wasn’t checking the app at the time. I ended up giving him my number a week ago and he immediately text me asking why I took so long and that he was now dating someone but they weren’t exclusive. I asked if he wanted me to back off and he said no but he felt a little guilty even though they’re not official. He said they had met 3 times and that he liked her personality but found me more attractive… Anyway we agreed to meet up after he convinced me that they weren’t official and it was okay. We met up and slept together as honestly that’s all what I wanted at the time. He has since text me multiple times and expressed that he wants to meet up again. He also remembered each of my job interviews as I had coming up and wished me luck and asked how they all went… I should mention that he did tell me he was looking for a relationship in the early stages of talking. I’m not sure if it is starting to seem like he wants one with me? I’m a little concerned about this girl he was “dating”. Does it seem like he wants to move things forward?

  1. Thus makes me throw up alittle in the back of my throat.

Not enough to spit out, but that perfect amount that you have to swallow that sour taste back down.

  2. You need to be very clear with him. A simple, “hey I appreciate you trying but I was only looking for a hook up. Good luck with your dating endeavours!”, or something would go a long long way. If he persists; block and move on. Simple.
