What should I do? If I pursue dental assistant career as it’s shorter, I’ll be able to work on myself to get ready for marriage. If I pursue dental hygiene I won’t have time to work on myself as it’s longer. But high salary incase marriage not work. It’s hard to work on myself while constantly studying. But I’m worried marriages fail and I’m making lower with dental assistant. Seeing my mom not having the best experience with my dad is making me feel worried I’ll be in the same position as her. I’ll be 27 when I become dental hygienist, that is someone late for me to start working on myself to be ready, I’m 23 now if I pursue dental assitant I’ll have time to read books and just work on myself. But I don’t know if I’ll end up with a good spouse.

  1. You want to not work, so you can work on yourself? What exactly does that entail. There’s a lot between the lines here. I strongly suggest some premarital counseling. Your life and working on yourself doesn’t go on hold to “get ready for marriage”. I mean in the scope of marriage, kids, working your tail off life doesn’t go on hold like this.
