It just gives a boost of confidence. I talked with friends about it and we had divided opinions. I think that if you do not acr on it, you can be a little flirty just to know that you still have it, you know? What do you think?

  1. Yes. If you want the person you’re dating to EVER take you seriously, you shut that shit down and don’t try and lead other people on.

That’s silly, childish and toxic behaviour.

  2. Wanting to be liked by other people when dating is a very common and natural desire. It’s human nature to seek validation and enjoy the feeling of being attractive to others. Flirting can be a playful and fun way to boost your confidence and maintain a sense of desirability.

However, the key is to ensure that this desire to be liked doesn’t lead you to behave in a way that might be misleading or hurtful to others. Being respectful of the feelings and boundaries of the people you’re interacting with is important. Flirting can be harmless as long as it’s consensual and doesn’t cross any lines or create false expectations.

So, it’s perfectly fine to enjoy the boost of confidence that comes from being liked while dating, just remember to do it in a respectful and considerate manner.
