Advice on quality items for a chai morning ritual.
For coffee you have moka pots, hand grinders, French presses etc which can make coffee a calming and fun ritual of the morning. If I wanted some items to make chai making in the morning equally as pleasant, what would you recommend?
I have a beautiful mortar and pestle for spices, and then bog standard items … a reglar thick bottom small steel pot, an ikea tea pot which I’m a big fan of, an electric kettle if I’m lazy, and, of course, a sieve.
Any idea on any items I can add or upgrades I can make for a morning chai making “ritual”?

Depends on how much tea you make in one go, but Le Creuset make some great teapots. Combine with a tea cosy and it’ll last you a good few hours.
I find a kettle, a cup and a teaspoon perfectly sufficient.
I love my Stump infuser teapot. Had it for years and it still brings me pleasure every time I use it.

Edit: Mine is perfect for 1 mug of tea, so presumably a 250ml size.
Teasmade. The best cup of morning tea is one you don’t have to make yourself.
Depending on the water in your area, a filter kettle! I wasn’t expecting it to make such a difference aside from not building up scale in the kettle, but my cups of tea taste so much better now.
Sugar bowl? Nice ceramic milk jug? Special bone china teacup and saucer? Big ol’ mug? It depends how you take your tea!
A Brita filter, not sure if this is a utensil really but using filtered water is amazing for tea!
It keeps that tea algae at bay, especially if you live in hard water.
