I (22M) have a best friend (22F) and we knew each other for about 8 years now. Our primary form of contact with each other has been through texting (especially during these last few years because of covid) and we text each other pretty often. She has always responded in a reasonable amount of time. However, recently, she has been responding a lot slower than normal (usually takes her about a week to respond). What should i do in this scenario? Should I just wait it out or should I call her or something to ask what is wrong?

In my experience with old friends You can always ask them if everything is okay or ask them if they’ve been busy lately, they shouldn’t take offense to it. If they ask why? You can just say they seemed bit occupied so just wanted to make sure everything is good.
