So I (26 F) have been in a relationship with my boyfriend (25 M) for 5.5 years and we have been living together for 2 of those years. We visit his family on a weekly basis and my family lives overseas.
They have booked a cruise during the Christmas and New Year period and haven’t included me as they want to do a family only holiday which they haven’t had the chance to in ages due to covid and busy working schedules. They are also sharing a room together so there will be no space for me to join. It just hurts that after being in a relationship for so long I can’t even be invited to a family holiday and I will be left alone during the festive period as my friends have made plans and my family live overseas. How should I approach my partner in this situation?
