We buy frozen edamame beans, it’s about £2.50 for a big bag and they take a couple mins to defrost in boiled water from the kettle, taste exactly the same as the small pots of “fresh” (frozen for transport anyway) which cost £4+ for a tenth of what’s in the frozen bag.
