For years now, I have been taking band throughout middle and highschool. Conversely, many of my friends take choir. I make an effort to go to all their choir concerts and have made it to almost all of them. However, none of my friends have ever come to any of my band concerts. Even when given reminders months in advance, there’s always something that they plan on the same day t the same time. Even worse, some of them have made jokes about not going to my concerts even when I’ve told them to stop. The worst part is that some of them don’t go because they say they don’t want any second hand embarrassment if someone makes a mistake. But then, a few days later, they all go to a choir concert, as if you can’t also experience second hand embarrassment at a choir concert. It’s gotten ridiculous at this point, and I’m getting upset about it.
