Husband was molested by a male cousin all throughout his childhood. He never got therapy, he is so protective over our children out of fear the same will happen. This worry is understandable but he constantly asks me where each child is in the house, like I’m supposed to know the very exact spot each child is at each moment (our kids are 2, 4, 6, 8).
He also won’t let our children talk to / be around any of my own gay relatives. It’s especially hard now for the holidays and being around my gay relatives makes him upset.
How do i deal? I get the trauma and why he does it, but it is also very tiring for me…
