I’ve (25M) been dating this awesome girl (24F) for a few months now, been on some great dates, she’s stayed the night a couple times and we’ve each said that we’ve mentioned the other to some of our family members. I didnt want to ask to put a label on it before the holidays but had kind of made up my mind on the matter, as I was going away with family over seas for the better part of two weeks and she had a wedding for a family member that she was involved with. Felt it would be kinda bad to put a label on it and then say “see ya” for two weeks.
Fast forward to after NYE, and it really seems like she’s pulling back. We scheduled to see each other for Thursday, but the replies are pretty cut and dry and unlike previous convos. In my head I have alarm bells ringing as previous situationships ive been in have ended in a similar fashion, with the first time it happening leaving me pretty crushed. I dont really know what changed, and i’m afraid to ask if we’re on the same page over text. Totally feels like i’m walking to my execution and dont know what to make of it. Should I ask in advance what’s going on? Or just wait?
