I’ve just noticed that often when I (26m) ask a girl out, they often say “I would be down” instead of using the word “yes”. Both In person and over text. I guess I feel that my normal reply to something would be along of “yes, that sounds great” or just “yeah!” if I was being asked out and interested. Sometimes these “would be down” people lead to an actual date, and then sometimes if it’s over text it turns into reschedule/not following through on the girl’s end. Which is fine, that’s just how it is I guess.
I’m reading into it a bit too much cause it’s still basically a yes but just curious if anyone’s got an opinion on this.
