I’ve always felt overly sensitive and lately it’s starting to get exhausting. I’ve felt sensitive about things like my friends meeting up without me, or my MIL making comments or doing things that make it seem like she favors my SIL more. Things like these make me feel hurt and awful and sometimes I feel like I’m overreacting.

I come from a sensitive family, and my mom is also overly sensitive to things like splitting time between my and my husband’s families.

I just want to know if others struggle with these feelings and how they have coped. It’s honestly exhuasting feeling this way and I’d like to try to change my perspective.
