I had a call with my manager this morning and was informed that I will have quite a lot of free time over the next few weeks/months due to a slowing of activity at work. I will remain on full pay. I work from home in financial services. Does anyone have any suggestions for how can I use this spare time most productively? Should I look for opportunities to earn more money at home (bearing in mind I pay 40% tax + NI + student loan), or learn a new skill (and if so, what)? Are there any other suggestions to best use this time?
