I moved across the country and live with grandparents and all I know is my cousins out here, but no friends outside of them and I just talk to a few people at work.
I did go to a neighborhood bar new year’s eve. The crowd usually is older, but new year’s happened to have young people and there were 8 people in the bar and it was not crowded to where I would be too embarrassed to go.
I have been going to bars lately I always felt more sad when I would see other people talking to a bartender and befriending them
Well yesterday, I went to this with restaurant that has a bar area where people can go and just drink without eating. The bartender who looked like 20s was talking to his coworkers casually and decided to pitch in and then I realized him and I kind of clicked. When he gave me my bill, he asked me what my name is. It made me feel really happy. I then asked him when he will be working and I said I will come back here and he was curious to when I would come back. Do you think this is a money making thing, or do you think he likes me as a potential friend?
