I see it both in meatspace and with famous people. Even when confronted on being wrong they will simply double down, deny, question your sources. It seems that literally NO ONE these days is willing to say “I made a mistake” or “I was wrong”. I do that all the time and so far not only do people not jump on me or think I am weak but seem to respect me more. So why don’t more people do it?
