Hi all. So the question lore comes from a conversation with a girl coworker, where last night she told me how on Bumble she got 3, potentially 5 dates lined up. And it just astounded me. With that alone, I have a gut feeling that whenever I’ll be talking to a chick, she’ll be texting multiple other men and it’ll feel like a competition at that point.

I looked up other’s opinions on the matter on here and from both both men and women, they said it’s completely fine as long as you’re honest and not leading anyone on.

But it still just baffles me. If you’re going to potentially date someone, why not give all uour energy into that one person until you find out it doesn’t work? I don’t know, I just can’t see the point in dating anymore. I don’t want to feel like I’m having to compete with multiple guys just to see if I can get a girl to like me more than them. Feels like an entertainment game.

Is this really the new norm? Am I overreacting some? I should add too, when I was 18 (24 now), I was seeing this one girl, just fwb nothing official, and when I started texting this new girl a bit, I got a feeling of guilt ride over me. So maybe it’s just a me thing, but it just still feels odd for people to talk to multiple people
