Ok so here’s the deal: I just came down with a cold and I’m still a little hungover from last night, so I’m in a bit of a brain fog. Because of that I just had a really awkward conversation with this guy I’m friendly with and I think he’s definitely gonna remember it. I won’t bore you with all the details but basically we were in line at the cafeteria and he saw me. He called out to me and was like “hey! I didn’t see you there!” I think I just kinda smiled and said something really dumb like “i saw you for a second.” Shitty response I know.
Few minutes later we met up at the sauce station and I think I asked him if he was going to a party next weekend (cause he mentioned going to another college next week), which may have made him a little uncomfortable, tho I’m not exactly sure. Then I asked a question which I don’t think he heard and he changed the subject but I think I repeated the question. By now I can totally see in his eyes that he looks uncomfortable, and I know that I’m being cringe. We eventually walked off our separate ways but I’m of course beyond mad at myself. Can I recover from this? Do you think that he’ll remember it the next time he sees me? I really don’t want to be known as awkward. I would appreciate some insight into this
