Hi, I’m a disabled guy suffering with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. It causes my muscles to weaken over time. I haven’t really be actively dating. It feels like a lot of girls don’t want to date a dude in a wheelchair. Dating apps have been easier to use since I don’t have to go anywhere in person, but the really sick and I don’t get any matches. I could be going out more to meet women, but I can’t drive myself and it’s hard to find accessable bars and hangout spots. I’m really lonely and my muscles weakness doesn’t allow me to satisfy someone the way I would like to. I’m looking for any advice because the loneliness is killing me. Sometimes I feel like I’m unloveable because of my disability. Any advice would help. I’m looking for someone that can be my wife.

  1. Hey you are ONE HUNDRED PERCENT worthy of love. I guarantee that you will find someone caring and respectful if you just keep at it!
Try a recon trip around your area to find places where you feel included. Accessibility is for everyone. Not all bars/lounges/clubs in the USA have complied to the ADA laws here and it’s shameful. Go out and see where you can take a date out for billiards or French fries.
Does your muscle weakness prevent you from handing her a vibrator so you can watch her climax? I have sexual trauma and my amazing boyfriend satisfies me 100% by just being understanding and that is what really gets me ‘off’.
