So I (27F) have been dating a guy (30M) and it has been going well.
He owns his own 3 bedroom house. I went to his for dinner and I thought it was basic, not overly decorated but I figured that may just be him rather than due to a lack of funds as he has had it for a while.
What really put me off however was that he has a single bed. It’s the weirdest thing as he has amaster bedroom with ensuite, but there is just a single bed in there.
I want to sensitively broach this subject, as I don’t know why a 30 year old man would choose this which I would find really weird. I wonder if it could just be due to circumstance and it is just a temporary thing, I think he makes enough money to be able to afford a double bed so I don’t know why he would choose to sleep in a single.
How do I go about bringing this up and would anyone else find this really weird as well or is it just me?
