I’m a 21 year old male, I try to engage with girls when I’m on a night out with my friends, I can tell they don’t like me based on my appearance, when I make eye contact with girls or say hi, they look away or say hi back and then walk away, if my attractive friend does it then they instantly engage with him.

Bars are technically just for drinking. Meeting people at bars is different, and yeah, it tends to go in favor of attractive people. Confidence goes a long way, but even that isn’t always enough
