I (24M) have a crush on my (20F) coworker. The issue with this is that I am already in a relationship with my (28F) girlfriend. I love my girlfriend very much and we have long and strong relationship.
For the past couple months, I have started to develop feelings for another coworker. At first. I didn’t think much of it and thought this would pass. This hasn’t been the case. During work, I often find myself looking her way. Outside of work, we do not talk or interact in any way and I do not think of her at all when I’m with my girlfriend. If we engage in conversation that begins to cross the boundary of overly flirtatious, I shut it down and change the subject or someway out of the conversation. My coworker is aware that I am in relationship. It also doesn’t help that she, and other coworkers, have made it known to me that she has feeling for me.
What do I do? Should I request a transfer? Out of sight out of mind? Should I consult my girlfriend so there 100% transparency on the situation? Any suggestions is appreciated!!
