Hello everyone. Moving to UK for the first time. Spent a week looking for a place to rent and cant get it. Looking for a places around 40Km around London, using Facebook market and groups, it looks like 99% of people are bots, but the main question how to find FULLY separate place like average 1 room flat in EU, with your own kitchen, own living room, own toilet. Coz renting a dormitory style studio in UK at your 25 looks creepy. I’m living with a girlfriend and cat.
In total, how locals find a normal 1 room flat, or separate house maybe form random grandpa/ma? And what usual experience and list of document you need to rent your first time in the UK? Thanks
